Software Development & Operations Lab aims at giving exposure to students to an environment where building, testing, and releasing software, can happen rapidly, frequently, and more reliably. It also emphasises on modernizing, rebuilding & optimizing Apps and Infrastructure during Software Development and Deployment. It also focuses on modernizing traditional applications with Dockers an open source software development platform to increase security, enable portability and lower the costs of application migration, deployment. By virtue of this lab Students are exposed to live projects and take requirements from customers directly for implementing IT projects using well known software engineering principles like water-fall model, iterative model, and agile model etc.

Lab Objectives: Students can Utilize this laboratory to

1. Model the systems, from concept to executable artefact, using knowledge of Software Engineering and Software Project Management.

2. Apply the knowledge of Software engineering and project management in Live Projects with the help of Open Source Tools and Frameworks.

3. Understand the Current trend software development process using Docker Container  an open source software development platform.

4. Get an exposure to Current technological trends in Software Development & Deployment like Micro Services, DevOps, Containerisation.
