System & Network Security Lab focuses on articulating the need for cyber security in computer systems, networks, and world wide web. It also focuses on Demonstration & Orchestration of various threat scenarios, Network attacks. This Lab also give emphasis on discovering cyber security holes in standard networking protocols, both in network architecture, standard protocols (such as TCP/IP, ARP, DNS, Ethernet, BGP etc), & demonstrating mitigation methods for same.

Lab Objectives: Students can Utilize this laboratory to:
1.  Apply the knowledge of cryptography to ensure security in computer systems, networks, and world wide web.
3.  Analyse and evaluate performance of Cryptography algorithms to do Cryptanalysis.
4.  Explore the different network reconnaissance tools to gather information about networks.
5. Explore and use tools like sniffers, port scanners and other related tools for analysing packets in a network.
6.  Set up firewalls and intrusion detection systems using open source technologies and to explore email security.
