Mechanisms is an assembly of moving parts performing a complete functional motion, often being part of a large machine; linkage. This lab is to impart practical knowledge on design and analysis of mechanisms for the specified type of motion in a machine. With the study of rigid bodies motions and forces for the transmission systems, machine kinematics and dynamics can be well understood.

The Mechanical Vibrations Laboratory provides opportunities for students to incorporate vibration analysis into the design, development, and optimization of products. Students use experimental modal analysis to find the different modes of vibration of the system.
