Dear student / Parent

We appreciate your interest in admission to APSIT for a rewarding career in engineering. We are beginning with Institute Level (Management) quota admissions very soon. Following are the steps to be followed to confirm the admission:

  1. Download the admission form and submit it in hardcopy in the Institute. No online form filling is available for 2023-24..
  2. CET score is essential. DTE registration number is also essential. This number will be generated after you visit the facilitation centre approved by the Government.  APSIT will also function as a facilitation centre as per directions of the Government . Facilitation Centre are expected to begin after 15th June 2023.
  3. The institute level admission form duly filled in shall be submitted in hard copy to APSIT within a week from the date of declaration of CET results.
  4. Students will be admitted to institute level quota as per the merit list of the applications received.
  5. APSIT will convey the date of institute level admission round well in advance.

Eligibility for Admission:

What is the eligibility criteria for Engineering admission?

Candidates intending to apply for B. E. should pass XIIth examination in English with minimum 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry (could be replaced with permissible technical vocational subject) and Mathematics. Further, the candidate is also required to have a valid nonzero score in MHT – CET / JEE (Main) for that Year.
Can students from other state of India take admission in APSIT?

Yes. Depending on the valid score in MH – CET / JEE (Main) for that Year and should pass XIIth examination in English with minimum 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry (could be replaced with permissible technical vocational subject) and Mathematics. Registration and Enrolment on the web portal of State Common Entrance Test Cell, Govt. of Maharashtra is MANDATORY.

Whether I should take admission through CAP or Institute level?

  • If you belong to Open category, it doesn’t matter whether you take admission in CAP or institute level. However, if you belong to reservation category or EBC you have an advantage of taking admission in CAP which qualifies students for scholarships resulting into saving on fees.
  • Even reservation student is eligible to take admission in institute level quota but required to pay full fees every year.
What is the admission process for Institute level quota at APSIT?

  • The candidate shall REGISTER ONLINE on the Institute website https://www.apsit.edu.in/ for becoming part of the Institute Quota admissions.
  • Registration and Enrolment on the web portal of State Common Entrance Test Cell, Govt. of Maharashtra is also MANDATORY.
When will be the admission forms for Institute level quota made available?

You will get admission form for institute level quota in institute. You are requested to fill enquiry form online.
Does APSIT have separate entrance exam for admission through Institute quota?

No. Admission is strictly on merit basis.
Whether admission through Institute quota requires donation?

No. College doesn't accept any donations, only approved fees is to be paid by the students.
What is the application Procedure for CAP level admission at APSIT?

  • The application process for engineering admission is conducted by State Common Entrance Test Cell, Govt. of Maharashtra. It is MANDATORY for the candidate to REGISTER and ENROL on the website for becoming part of the Central Admission Process.
  • You can select the course of your choice at APSIT in the option form.
What is the meaning of admission through CAP or Institute level?

Admission through Centralised Admission Process ( CAP) is a process run by CET cell of Government of Maharashtra. Through this process you can apply for all colleges in Maharashtra. The process is online and conducted after MHT CET results.
Institute level admission is only for that institute and you need to directly apply to that institute.
What are the Criteria for Jain Minority candidate admission at APSIT?

Eligibility criteria for Jain Minority is as under: -
  • Domiciled in the Maharashtra state
  • Belong to a Jain Religious Minority Community from within the state and as notified it on School leaving certificate.
Which documents are required to submit at the time of admission at APSIT?

Below mentioned original documents are required at the time of admission: -
  1. SSC (Std. X) mark sheet.
  2. HSC/Diploma marksheet.
  3. MH- CET, JEE (Main) Score Card / Mark Sheet.
  4. Certificate of the Indian Nationality of the candidate. (Leaving Certificate mentioning Nationality)
  5. Domicile/Birth
  6. Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC/NT/SBC Candidate)
  7. Caste Validity Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC/NT/SBC Candidate)
  8. Non-Creamy Layer valid up to 31st March (for OBC/NT/SBC Candidate)

Who decides APSIT fees?

College fees is decided by Maharashtra Government Fees Regulating Authority http://www.sssamiti.org .
Will there be any increase in the fees in subsequent years?

No. The same fees is to be paid for entire duration of the course i.e. 4 years.
Is there any difference in fees structure for the candidate who are taking admissions through Institute quota and CAP?

Fees structure remains same for the students taking admission through CAP or Institute Quota. However, only students admitted through CAP are eligible for scholarship schemes applicable to SC, ST, OBC, SBC, DT, NT and EBC.
What is the fee structure for the students belonging to SC/ST/SBC/DT/NT/OBC category taking into account the scholarship?

  • Development fees is to be paid by student for all categories except SC and ST category.
  • No Tuition fees required to be paid by SC / ST candidate. 100 % tuition fees is paid by Government of Maharashtra as scholarship (If Scholarship Form filled and submitted in time)
  • 50% of tuition fees shall be paid by OBC candidate. Remaining 50 % of tuition fees is paid by Government of Maharashtra as scholarship (If Scholarship Form filled and submitted in time)
  • 50 % of tuition fees shall be paid by EBC (Economically backward class) students. Remaining 50 % of tuition fees is paid by Government of Maharashtra as scholarship (If Scholarship Form filled and submitted in time)
*If admission is taken through Institute Quota, above mentioned concessions are not applicable, Full fees to be paid as per the Fee Structure.

Public Transportation: APSIT is well connected by number of buses of BEST, TMT, NMMT, MSRTC, MBMT and VVMT. You may get down at Kasarvadavali bus stop to reach APSIT.
