Heat transfer, Refrigeration & Air conditioning Lab emphases on providing environment where students can understand the basic concepts of Heat transfer, Refrigeration & Air conditioning and its actual applications in various industrial and domestic fields. The lab is well-equipped with calibrated equipment which enables students to understand and implements their knowledge of  Heat Transfer, Refrigeration & Air conditioning.

 
 

 

Lab Objectives:

Students can utilize this laboratory to:

  1. To familiarise concept of thermal conductivity, heat transfer coefficient through experiments .
  2. To familiarise experimental verification of the concepts of heat transfer.
  3. To study operating principles of Vapour Compression system
  4. To study controls and applications of refrigeration and air conditioning 
  5. To study components of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
