The session began at 10 AM with Harsh Tambade highlighting the evolution and importance of DevOps in addressing the limitations of traditional development models. He explained how DevOps bridges the gap between development and operations through collaboration, automation, and continuous integration.
Harsh detailed various SDLC models, including Waterfall and Spiral, and emphasized Agile methodology for iterative and flexible development. The session covered all major DevOps stagesโplanning, development, testing, release, deployment, and monitoringโwhile introducing essential tools like Git, Docker, Jenkins, and Kubernetes. Students also learned about CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps, and how cloud platforms like AWS and Azure simplify scalable deployment. The session offered a complete roadmap, empowering attendees with the vision and tools to navigate the future of software engineering.
