Technical session titled “Search, Think, Answer: Understanding RAG and MCP” for Second and Third Year students.The session aimed to familiarize students with the evolving landscape of Large Language Models (LLMs) and to provide a conceptual as well as practical understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). The speakers explained how RAG bridges the gap between static language models and dynamic, real-world knowledge by integrating retrieval mechanisms into generative AI systems.
