Computer Society of India (CSI):
Computer Society of India is the first and largest body of computer professionals in India. It was started on 6 th March 1965 by a few computer professionals and has now grown to be the national body representing computer professionals. It has 72 chapters across India, 511 student branches, and 100,000 members.

CSI Chapter

The Computer Society of India is a non-profit professional meet to exchange views and information, learn and share ideas. The wide spectrum of members is committed to the advancement of theory and practice of computer Engineering and Technology System, Science and Engineering, Information Processing and related Arts and sciences. The Society also encourages and assists professionals to maintain integrity and competence of the profession and fosters a sense of partnership amongst members. Besides the activities held at the Chapters and Student Branches, the Society also conducts periodic conferences, seminars.
With a view to provide a diverse platform to our aspiring engineers, Department of Information Technology inaugurated the student chapter. This CSI Institutional membership and CSI Student chapter is an opportunity for networking with professionals, knowledge sharing through CSI Publication & Portal etc. It provides huge, long lasting benefits of value to the institution, its management, faculties and students.
Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE):
IEEE student chapter was started to help students to participate actively in technical events such as paper presentations, international conferences and provide accessibility to research articles, technical papers and other online resources. It also helps to develop social and professional contacts. It is also a platform for exchanging ideas about recent trends and technologies. It also helps in building and maintaining team building skills, leadership and interpersonal skills.

The IEEE APSIT Student Branch at A. P. Shah Institute of Technology is a vibrant technical community dedicated to innovation, learning, and professional growth. As a part of IEEE, the world’s largest technical professional organization, the branch provides students with opportunities to explore technology beyond academics through workshops, hackathons, seminars, competitions, networking events, and skill-development activities. The branch aims to nurture technical excellence, leadership, collaboration, and industry readiness among students.

IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) APSIT is committed to empowering and inspiring women in engineering and technology. The chapter promotes leadership, confidence, technical growth, inclusivity, and innovation through impactful initiatives and collaborative learning experiences.

IEEE WIE APSIT organizes technical sessions, mentorship programs, panel discussions, and community-driven activities that encourage students to grow professionally while building a strong support network.
