Interview Breakthrough: Techniques to Land Your Dream Job took place on 5th August 2024 at 11:00 AM in Venue 008, offering attendees an insightful session on acing interviews and impressing employers. Led by esteemed speaker Ms. Preeti Muley, participants embarked on an enlightening journey to unlock their potential and excel in their interviews, enhancing their confidence and readiness for job interviews. The practical approach ensured practical knowledge acquisition.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) organized a highly informative session titled “Empowering Projects: Web Dev and ML Essentials” on 18th July 2024. This student-led initiative was conducted by Riya Sawant and Rutuja Patil, final-year students of BE CSE (Data Science). The session, held in Room 101 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, aimed to empower fellow students with the necessary skills and strategies to transform their project ideas into impactful realities.

The Interactive Session on Dynamic Interfaces and MySQL Integration was an enlightening event hosted by APSIT for the students of SE CSE - Data Science. Led by esteemed speakers Sonal Sonarghare and Arya Patil (BE CSE, Data Science), the session aimed to provide participants with hands-on experience in designing dynamic user interfaces and connecting applications to MySQL databases.The session focused on bridging the gap between frontend design and backend data handling, offering real-world insights into creating seamless, interactive web solutions. Participants actively engaged with the content, gaining practical knowledge that supports their academic and professional growth.

The 'Mastering the Path' Expert Talk, featuring Mr. Vinay Raikar, Founder of Campus Credentials, hosted by CSE-DS department took place on October 12, 2023, from 12.55 pm to 1.50 pm. Students of CSE-DS SE & TE gathered for an engaging discussion on 'Aptitude Test and Technical Interview Success for Engineering Graduates.' Mr. Raikar's 15 years of educational excellence provided our students with invaluable insights and strategies for achieving career goals.

The department of Data Science-CSE hosted an illuminating webinar on October 5, 2023, at 11 am which was jointly organized by AICTE and Eduskills , with a dedicated focus on advancing education and skills development. This collaborative effort brought together educators, police industry experts, and students to explore innovative strategies and initiatives aimed at nurturing India's future talent pool.

Matrix of Deception 2.0, organized by the Data Science Association and the Data Science & Analytics Club, took place on September 15th, 2023, and left a lasting impact on its 50+ enthusiastic attendees. It beckoned participants to step into a world where coding skills held the key to survival. This event, shrouded in mystery and excitement, comprised four distinct stages, each presenting participants with life-and-death challenges that required quick thinking and coding expertise. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as teams of 3-4 members gathered to test their coding mettle. The aim of Matrix of Deception 2.0 was to provide participants with a challenging and immersive coding experience.

The webinar, titled "The path to Containerized applications and Cloud Native development," commenced at 4:00 pm and provided a comprehensive overview of containerization practices within the DevOps framework. Mr. Galav emphasized the integration of DevOps principles with containerization, highlighting its importance in achieving efficient, scalable, and agile software delivery.

" In the dynamic world of data science, collaboration is the North Star, and Git and GitHub are the indispensable compasses". On August 22nd 2023, the Data Science Student Association embarked on an extraordinary odyssey, guiding students through the intricate landscapes of project flow management while providing them with an immersive hands-on experience with Git and GitHub. We equipped students with essential skills for effective data science collaboration and project management, emphasizing version control and streamlined workflows.

"Generative AI stands at the forefront of technological advancement, redefining the boundaries of human creativity" The webinar on "Build your own Generative AI Model" by Mr. Trivikrama (Entrepreneur, Alumni IIT Delhi) aimed to empower students of third-year CSE Data Science, CSE AIML, Department of Information Technology and Department of Computer Engineering by imparting essential skills and knowledge about Artificial Intelligence on 19th August 2023. During this session, participants learned about AI applications, such as Chat GPT, Google Bard, Vicuna, Open Assistant, and text-to-image applications like dreamstudio, playgroundai, and midjourny. Key takeaways of the session includes understanding the difference between Artificial Narrow Intelligence (ANI) and Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), AI vs ML vs DL, AI applications, prompt engineering, current limitations of deploying generative AI, and building a generative AI model.
