The Basic Workshop provides a foundation in practical engineering through Engineering Workshop–I in Semester I and Engineering Workshop–II in Semester II. These courses introduce students to workshop practices and help them develop essential hands-on skills for subsequent engineering courses and projects. Located in Room B01, the workshop occupies an area of 361.76 sq. m.

The Central Computing Facility supports computer-based learning and design activities across mechanical engineering courses. It caters to WDGT and EDP in Semester III, CAD/CAM/CAE in Semester V, and Design of Mechanical Systems and Industrial Soft Skills in Semester VII. Located in Room 301, the facility supports students’ computational, engineering design and professional skill development.

The CNC and 3D Printing Laboratory supports learning in computer-aided design, manufacturing and engineering through the CAD/CAM/CAE course offered in Semester V. It connects digital design concepts with CNC manufacturing and 3D printing applications. The facility is located in Rooms B02 and 011, with areas of 99.60 sq. m and 78.97 sq. m, respectively.

The IMS and Automation Laboratory supports practical learning in measurement, machine dynamics, automation and control. It caters to Measurements and Control, Dynamics of Machinery, and Sensors, Actuators and Interfacing in Semester V; Theory of Machines in Semester IV; Maintenance Engineering in Semester VII; and Laboratory Based on IoT in Semester VIII. Located in Room 001, the laboratory occupies an area of 83.82 sq. m.

The Machine Shop supports hands-on learning in manufacturing processes and machining practices through the Manufacturing Processes Lab course offered in Semester IV. It helps students develop practical skills and connect manufacturing concepts with workshop activities. The facility is distributed across Rooms 010 and 011, with areas of 172.51 sq. m and 78.97 sq. m, respectively.

The Material Testing Laboratory supports learning related to material properties, testing and their applications in engineering design. It caters to Material Testing in Semester III and Product Design and Development in Semester VIII, helping students relate material behaviour to product requirements. Located in Room 006, the laboratory covers an area of 83.6 sq. m.

The Project Laboratory supports project-based learning and enables students to apply engineering knowledge to practical problems. It caters to Mini Projects/Major Projects from Semesters III to VIII and Maintenance Engineering in Semester VII, supporting the development of problem-solving, teamwork and project execution skills. Located in Room B03, the laboratory occupies an area of 102.78 sq. m.

The Thermal Engineering–I Laboratory supports practical learning in thermal systems, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration. It caters to HVAC and Refrigeration and Thermal Engineering, both offered in Semester VI, helping students connect theoretical concepts with practical applications. Located in Room 002, the laboratory covers an area of 83.82 sq. m.

The Thermal Engineering–II Laboratory supports the study of fluid behaviour, fluid machinery and thermal engineering principles. It caters to Fluid Mechanics and Machinery in Semester V and Thermal Engineering in Semester VI, strengthening students’ understanding of fluid and thermal systems. Located in Room B04, the laboratory occupies an area of 139.36 sq. m.
